We are here to provide expert help to you, your child, and/or loved one. We know people can overcome obstacles that may seem impossible. Our specific plans help guide a path to success so that you can thrive at home, school, work, and in the community.

We care for the whole person and we think about how the brain and behavior changes as people grow. We examine the different contexts (cultural, family, social) that shape one's development. Treatment is family centered and individualized to each patient's needs. We take pride in taking the extra steps to work with you and the important people in your life such as teachers and doctors to provide complete care and support positive outcomes.

Ella's story

After years of struggling with Ella's ADHD and an 8 day hospitalization as well as school suspension, we sought out a neuropsychologist for an evaluation when she became withdrawn. Previously, she was an outgoing, confident child with a good sense of humor, but slowly we saw those traits diminish. Upon our first meeting we could tell that Dr. Salinas was incredibly knowledgeable in her field. Ella's father and I left that meeting feeling hope for the first time in months, maybe years. After the evaluation, her dad and I sat down with Dr. Salinas, learned what the evaluation showed, her main diagnosis, and a plan to address her needs. It was overwhelming in the beginning, but for the first time I felt we had a direction to move towards.

Dr. Salinas worked with us all in therapy for months and she personally consulted with the school. She had the innate ability to communicate with our then 11 year old, as well as us, her parents, in a way we could understand. Dr. Salinas has a calming spirit about her that my usually guarded child trusted immediately. Her dad and I did not ever feel judged, always supported and hopeful.

Dr. Salinas also helped improve the relationships in our blended family that have continued to flourish through today. We have used her recommendations for school and with Ella's doctor. We have our happy, social, funny young lady back. There was a time when I did not think this was possible. Our family will forever be grateful to Dr. Salinas for her guidance during the most difficult part of our lives!

-Mother of 11 year old with ADHD

Dear Dr. Salinas: On behalf of our family, I want to thank you for your work as a neuropsychologist for the benefit of our son's health. From psychological tests to helping with the detection of functional areas of his brain that allowed surgeons to successfully operate and remove a large area of his brain without affecting his speech, motor and other functions that were at risk. We are highly satisfied with your contribution. Today we have our son free of the terrible seizures that were deteriorating his health every day. Our feeling of powerlessness and frustration has disappeared. For us to see him like this after such severe damage from the cortical dysplasia that spread throughout his frontal lobe, this experience has been like a rebirth. I hope that many other children can be treated as our son and may God bless you.

-Mother of 9yo boy with epilepsy from Dominican Republic

We feel so fortunate to have found a Doctor like you, We feel that your personal touch and attention to our situation is above and beyond the call of duty. It is obvious that you are not in this for the money, you offer personal support and make your clients feel like they are friends with a knowledgeable doctor. Thank you very much for your attention to detail... You are definitely one of the best doctors we have ever visited.

-Husband of 70 year old woman with memory issues

My experience with Dr. Salinas was outstanding! Upon arrival to the office, we were greeted warmly by her personally. She had toys to keep my son occupied while she completed the intake assessment with me. She spent over an hour with us, as if we were her only patients, and exuded such compassion. I would highly recommend Dr. Salinas for your child!
